White label in Uzbek practice
The factory produces with its own technology, the seller puts its trademark on it. For a marketplace seller this raises margin and ends dependence on someone else’s price list; for the factory it loads the line and creates a stable order without marketing spend.
Uzbekistan is ready: local production of cosmetics, household chemistry, confectionery, packaging and food semi-finished products is growing, while marketplace demand outpaces the ability of producers to package, certify and publish a product card.
Where a seller starts
- Niche and unit economics: cost, logistics, marketplace commission, ad budget, break-even.
- Product requirements: composition, volume, packaging, shelf life, label language.
- Factory search: trade shows, exhibitor catalogues, references.
- Sample and audit: pilot batch, defect terms, production schedule.
- Documents: certification, declaration, rights to the brand and packaging design.
- Contract: minimum order, price, payment terms, channel exclusivity.
What the factory cares about
Producers look at three things: order volume, payment reliability and whether the seller will undercut the brand. Negotiations are won by whoever brings a promotion plan and a realistic forecast, not by whoever asks for a lower price.
Where to have this conversation
This is exactly the format of ECOM & RETAIL EXPO SAMARKAND — White Label Edition: manufacturers, sellers, delivery services, fintech and marketing in one hall, with a product photo zone, so part of the path from sample to published card happens at the show.
- 16–17 June 2027, SOF EXPO Samarkand;
- co-organizer: the Uzbekistan Sellers Association;
- supported by the Samarkand Regional Administration.
